Innovation Civilization Center (创新文明中心) is to promote innovation civilization.
Our Mission
The Center provides research studies, education and training programs, facilities, and activities that enhance people's capability, adaptability, and happinese in the innovation civilization.
Aims
The human beings have undergone different civilizations. However, the old civilizations have appeared incapable of solving many of the present problems. The fundamental reason for this, we believe, is that we have entered a new civilization, which is innovation-oriented.
Innovation means the creation of new things, including products, services, models, and so on. It implies changes, bringing about new things. It involves not only the existing knowledge and facts, but more importantly new knowledge or states in the future that one is exploring and establishing. To innovate, you do not really know what to innovate. Paradoxically, it is the result that tells you what you have innovated. In an innovation civilization, the rule is that the world keeps on changing, with lots of unknown, emerging results. Undoubtedly, such a civilization has its unique set of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and core values, which is so different from the traditional ones.
Our aims are to provide research studies, education and training programs, facilities and activities to promote the mass awareness of the new civilization, to explore the civilization, and help people develop the capability set required by the civilization.
